theres a minecraft bruteforcer out which hacks into accounts very easily
this guy might not have even downloaded anything
^This guy has your account.
All jokes aside, if he didn't change your password go on another computer or enter it via safe mode (I recommend the former, so long as the new computer doesn't have any trojans) and change it yourself. Then format, or run MBAM as the other guy said.
I recommend formatting to be thorough, but if you don't have the time MBAM SHOULD be good enough.
Afterwards downloading some proper anti virus might do you some good, Norton isn't a good antivirus.
1) This is the SSP forum. It's not the Support forum. It's not even the SMP forum. Did you just select a forum to post in at random?
2) There's really not much a "hacker" can do with your MC account. It's not like there's a big market for items that can be created in infinite supply using freely downloaded software. If you back up your worlds regularly, there's pretty much nothing significant he can do at all.
Just change your PW and move on.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
Bruteforcers would take days/weeks/months/years(of continuous running) with a password with at least one number in it, and even if you could build one faster the hacker wouldn't be able to do it within minutes.
If he was saying your real first name then he probably knew you and already had knowledge of what you use for passwords.
It's also possible you have Mincecraft installed on more than one computer, and left 'Remember Password' Checkbox checked on one of the machines. Never ever check that box unless it's check on your home machine in your own room, and even then, don't do that either.
Ok, seriously now.
Would you mind telling us the whole story? And why do YOU think this has happened?
Well i was playing in the SMP and there was a hacker and he had lava then after a while he started saying my name which i have no idea how he got then about a minute after that it logged me out.
First of all, in survival multiplayer, your name shows up above your character's head.
Secondly, And I'm not too sure about this; but in RuneScape, if you get disconnected, your character is still in game.
Only after your character is automatically logged out you can log back in.
It's quite easy (I'll speak from experience here) to gain information about someone as long as you have access to their computer for around a minute or can have them download a file and run it unknowingly.
Things such as paypal info, tax returns, logins and passes, pictures, etc. can be accessed within minutes if you know what you're doing.
That being said, a minecraft account is a very easy thing to steal if you really wanted to and for the person to know your IRL name is quite easy as well.
