AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core Processor (3.0GHz)
Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT Video Card
4GB of DDR2 800 Ram
Ubuntu 10.04 64 Bit
:happy.gif: I also built my GF's computer (For $260 including shipping) that SHE is playing on:
AMD Sempron 140 Single Core Processor (2.7GHz)
Onboard Video (NVIDIA GeForce 6150)
2GB of DDR2 800 Ram
Ubuntu 10.04 32 Bit
O.o Never found a program or game my Quad couldn't handle. Lord help us all if "Minecraft 2: The Recognition" will require Dual Processor 8 Core CPU's, 64GB of Ram, 8 SLI-ed Video cards, etc.
The box itself: Dell Inspiron 530s
Pentium Dual Core (basically Core 2 Duo)
2 Gb of RAM
32-bit
Desktop Res: 1280x1024
ATI Radeon HD 3450
Windows Vista (hopefully 7 soon)
Crappy Comcast Internet Service -.-
Can run MC in default resolution, Fancy and Far with about 80-90 FPS. But the lag spikes drive me crazy. I'm probably gonna get a Nvidia card soon.

I don't feel like putting anything witty here, sorry.
E8500, GTX 275, Illegal amount of HD space (Seriously, dont ask), 4GB RAM, Lian-Li case, blah blah blah it runs... more than enough FPS. I care more about the case than the computer :tongue.gif:
I've tried it on far worse and it runs ok as well, it really just requires a better than garbage video card. Turning off fancy graphics helps alot for shittier cards.
One thing I have not tried yet is on my Atom 330 + ION. Given that Google Earth is actually usable (in 1920x1080 no less) on that thing I might be surprised.
Vista 32-bit
3 gigs RAM
Intel Pentium Dual CPU 1.80GHz
I have to run on Tiny render distance and fast. Unfortunately even that's not good enough apparently after I downloaded the Painterly texture pack. Ever since then the game lag spikes whenever I add or destroy anything in the world. Incredibly annoying. Any protips on what I should upgrade? I don't know a whole lot about PC gaming at all but I'm trying to get into it so any help would be appreciated.
That is a serious answer. Haven't you ever built a computer or shopped for parts? When you buy Nvidia/Intel, part of what you're paying for is the name. It's like buying designer ripped jeans. You pay for the name.

Oh. Derp. I never really noticed. And I've just built a gaming rig, too. Well, what I think is a gaming rig. >.>
Performance wise, what do you guys find best?

ATI Mobility Radeon HD5650 1GB Graphics card
4 GB Memory
Windows 7
Most of this doesn't mean anything to me. It works and I can play Minecraft, Baldurs Gate, Neverwinter, Wow, Guild Wars and Civ 5 just fine.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core
4GB DDR2 RAM
NVidia GeForce 260 GTX
Far, Fancy, 1680x1050
Don't know the FPS, but never had lags or slow down.
My grandmother computer can run Minecraft!
The Ancient Worlds

I want your computer
8 GB DDR3 RAM
NVidia GeForce GTS450
Why is everyone using ATI instead of Nvidia? V_V
4GB DDR3
GeForce 9800GTX
Windows 7 64 bit
I run my game on fast and whichever view distance it happens to be at due to me accidently hitting F
Fast because honestly, since the Halloween update my game crashes way more often on Fancy... for whatever reason.
UNLESS THAT SIGNATURE IS A SHAMELESS PLUG FOR THIOCRAFT, MY VERY OWN TEXTURE PACK!
4 GB DDR3 RAM
1 TB HDD
Radeon HD 5850
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
ati mobility radeon hd 5470 512mb 4gb ddr3
1600x900 resolution far + fancy 30-40 fps
Because when you buy Nvidia, you're paying the Nvidia tax. It's kind of like the Apple tax. Intel does the same thing.
I'd like a serious answer. V_V

1,5 Gb RAM
64 Mb Video
30Gb and 60Gb Hard Drives
I run it at 30 FPS with tiny render distance and fast graphics (can run it on fancy but a little laggy)
1gb DDR 333 RAM
Nvidia FX go5200 64mb
Yes, its a dinosaur of a laptop but the game runs fine.
