Nice. I'm going to try this on my world. Also, going to make a texture mix using your texture mix :3.
Edit: Or maybe I won't. Get a 404 when I tried to download. Oh well.
You could build this near a skeleton dungeon so you always have a fresh supply of skeletons.
I had a different idea about how to do this but have not gotten around to implementing it yet. The basic concept I was working on was getting skeletons to shoot at me and collect skeleton arrows on a block; then I can kill the skeleton(s). Later I can lead a creeper into a hole below the block with arrows, destroy block and creeper killed by falling arrows.
I would recommend doing it on the surface, finding a creeper in caves is much more difficult, they are also harder to bait without getting blown up in caves.
Ugh, on the last two attempts the mobs got stuck in the doors and wouldn't move even after I opened the doors. When they didn't get stuck, they despawned before I could find either a skeleton or a creeper. Will keep trying though.

That's the same problem I have, the mobs get stuck on the doors. Haven't got a single one in yet...

It works if I make sure the mob is completely in the room before closing the doors.
make sure you put the doors in the same way I put mine in, if they are facing the opposite direction the mobs might not be able to get in, I only tested them one way.
I found three creepers and a skelie. I was able to score several hits on two creepers before the skellie started shooting. He missed me and killed those two creepers. One dropped a green record, and the other a gold record. Then he shot creepy #3. Who promptly exploded in skellie's face. And destroyed my lovely green recored before I could get to it. The gold one was still sitting there! Oh, and there was also a zombie and a large slime in the party.
Name says it all [>>-i>] = WIN. This is a tutorial for how to build a machine that will turn one skeleton and one creeper into one record! Enjoy it!

I've been spending WAY too much time on The Art of Trolling.
