so i found this weird object while i was exploring a cave and found a dungeon. i found this in one of the crates there. it looks like a iron circle with something green in the middle. What is this? is it new because i have never seen this before.

so it kinda looks like this.

It's a record. You can put it in a jukebox to play it.

Is it a monster spawner? Is it a record?

That's a record. Make a jukebox (square of 8 planks with a redstone in the middle, I believe) and you can play it by right-clicking on the jukebox while holding the record.

Actually, it's diamond, but yes, the rest is the same.





The green record is "cat", and it's a nice electronica(?) song. Right click your jukebox with the record to play it.
