I would love throwable tnt and the sword is already basically a spear, it has a pretty far reach you gotta admit, and maybe a boomerang? like a bow without string. Another idea i had was that if he does add sharks to make the drop shark's teeth, and that could be the next level arrow...
Having a shield would be a nice touch... but can only have a weapon OR the shield equipped, not both. (Keeps with the 1 item in hand design.)
But, I like the system so far. Skeleton arrows do do a ton of damage (I play on Hard), and I like it like that. It forces me to be aware of my surrounding. However, haven't encountered a lot so far in my world... sorta spawned in an empty area, sorta disappointing. But... the simpler the combat, the more vicious the enemies, and the more harmless I feel all equals to a happy me.
The game is about SURVIVING, not monster slaying. That's my opinion.
And, I want water mobs... both fishes to collect and eat, and the shark/barracuda/jellyfishes or any other swimming thing that kills. It doesn't need to be a shark though... I feel they're over done. Octupi or monster jellyfishs would be far more interesting. (As well as blocky. )
