Yetis.
A region specific mob that is: [*:35xls5x0]Spawns only in snowy-type maps.
[*:35xls5x0]Twice the size of your character.
[*:35xls5x0]1.5x the speed of your character.
[*:35xls5x0]Hibernates at night.
[*:35xls5x0]Cannot fit in caves.
[*:35xls5x0]Can break blocks at a 3blocks/minute rate. (Ice blocks and fences being an exception to that rule)
[*:35xls5x0]Lets out a roar of equivilant irritation to a cow's moo when within 30 units of distance.
*Ability to change spawn/ beds as spawn point (Popular idea)
*Fish/ aquatic animals
*dyeing materials for decoration and such
*fixed mine carts and boats please :smile.gif:
*Time System? (clock?)
*more types of weapons? (ie. spear? longer reach, less damage)
*Traps and maybe even bait for these traps???
*Followers (pets??)
*Currency?? General store?? maybe
*more types of trees and food
*INVITE FRIENDS TO YOUR WORLD, this would be awesome, maybe they could view you in 3rd person?
*Friend list
*books/bookshelves for writing in, maybe keeping track of the mobs you've killed? maybe info on those mobs?
*Enemy and friendly NPC villages, this would be flippin' awesome!!
*More purpose for: Cactus, string, bookshelf, flowers, gold, bricks, dirt, obsidian

good idea but if it does what i think (set flammable material and monsters on fire) than it should probably be something like:
[] [] []
[] []
[] [>>-i>] []
and it would make one flaming arrow, that way with SMP people cant go crazy spamming flame arrows burning your house down
also, maybe a bomb arrow, like:
[] [] []
[] []
[] [>>-i>] []
for those tricky places you want to quickly excavate (I.E. high roofs or a large mob chasing you). it would just fire and explode on the first thing hit
what about maybe adding an almighty power... the great notch in the sky!!!!
and maybe a karma system, like, if you don't mutilate cute lil' animals then you'd get good karma and god (notch) would drop something at random from time to time (i dont mean drop 1 dirt every 4 seconds a million miles away, more like it'll add 5 leather to your inventory every 20 mins) and if you have bad karma then you'd get nothing. But it wouldn't show your karma in a bar or anything its just meant to be like a philosophy where its just a random miracle
I know this is kinda out there for minecraft standards but im just trying to think outside the pixle
Just my humble idea: satellite controlled mining laser.
= Redstone torch
= Redstone
= Button
Mining laser:
Satellite:
[] []
[] []
Controller:
You would need to place mining laser somewhere (it would have wheels and it would need fuel) then launch satellite with rocket or it could have build in boosters. After satellite is on orbit, you would be able to control mining laser with controller.
Maybe silicon and copper ore could be added to game for crafting more complex circuitry for devices like this.
am I the only one who thinks this post was never meant to be taken seriously? same with the CounterStrike/CoDMW2 post ...
with all the trolls and idiots on the the internet can we really take anything anyone says seriously... especially if they say L4WLZ at the end of every sentence
In which = Gold Blocks (Would be impossible to cut afterward without a steel or higher-quality axe. Mainly decorative.)
Cactus Sword
[] []
[] []
[] []
In which = Cactus blocks (Durability is 1, but deals damage as if it were made of steel.)
Barbed Arrow:
[] []
[] []
[] ]" title="-<->" /> []
Again, = Cactus Block (Makes 3 Barbed Arrows that hit twice as much as a normal arrow. It cycles with weaker arrows first, if in inventory, then strongest)

Konami Code on Minecraft... wouldn't that just kill Creepers on the spot? [SSSS]
Also, images are gone, but I didn't have to worry much... none were on my sig. Others have different opinions...
i like the cactus idea but not the arrow, maybe it will slowly damage them (cuz of the needles in them)
but what if when you break a cactus youll get a 1-in-5 chance (like flint) to get a cactus needle and it would work like a snowball (only stronger) where its a simple projectile but still kinda weak
Not gonna take credit for this idea I saw it on reddit, but this would be AWESOME. Have it spawn in really deep mines, and we all know notch could make this thing terrifying out of blocks. Probably too much for a friday though.

We need massive, multiroom dungeons, along with, of course, biomes and hopefully dragons. But I would love to see a large dungeon made up of multiple rooms and tunnels.
They should fill the 257-use and 513-use gaps between Iron and Diamond, and should be made by re-forging Iron. To create a significant cost, steel should take twice as long as iron to smelt, and damascus steel four times - or maybe eight and sixteen, to make a 1-1 steel-coal ratio, and allow those of us with extra coal and not enough iron not to feel gimped.
It would be awesome if there were tribes and stuff, maby sea creatures?
Yea, tribes of npc's that look like normal humans, only edited a little bit to stay away from the default skin. Sea creatures would be nice, but they should be able to break wooden boats. The invention of a bigger, steel boat. By bigger, i mean you can put chests on it. And it looks bigger and taller.
As someone who is always curious as to just how long they have before sunrise/sunset, I propose the ability to create a clock, that would work much like the compass in the sense the icon always changes.

Where the Red Mushroom is Redstone dust.
What I picture is an old style pocket watch with an hour hand that moves around. When it is at the top (12 o'clock), it is sunrise, when it is on the right (3 o'clock), it is when the sun is at its peak for the day. When the hand is at the bottom (6 o'clock) the sun has set and the moon has risen, and when it is pointing to the left (9 o'clock) the moon is at its peak. I realize that this is not real time, but I figure it is easier to look at it and know instantly where the sun is.

I wouldn't mind having a clock or at least something to know if it's day or night when I'm deep underground, but you do realize that recipe you suggested is the exact crafting recipe for the compass, right? Especially odd seeing as you mentioned the compass immediately before the recipe.

First we need huge ass dungeons.
THEN comes the huge ass creatures.
But your idea,I approve.
**** this **** i hate it
fixed it

Green = Cactus
Arrow = Fences
These can be useful for houses. I lost my house to a Creeper waiting at my fence.
