Yes, everything is located in the Minecraft folder.
See thats the thing, I only have the minecraft.exe, and I want to actually get the folders in the first place. Idk why I dont have them.

I'm pretty sure you can get rid of Minecraft.exe and download it again, and you will not loose anything. All the minecraft saves and the actual important program stuff is stored in Application Data, somewhere in a folder named ".minecraft". What are you needing? Why do you want to redownload?

I wrote same thing in chat once. Then i realized that i was on different user, so go check in c:\documents and settings\ whatever user\Application data\.minecraft
If you do not find in one of the user go check in other. I am sure search function should work too.(search function in windows). All this is assuming you run windows, and by user i mean a folder named by your windows log in name.

Well I just thought im missing them and it would be good to have them. I dont really HAVE to re-download so I probably wont. And i cant find any folders that have to do with minecraft. Even when I search ".minecraft" or "minecraft" all that pops up is the folder I made for my screenshots... >.>
If i play my single player game, It still has my world and it wouldnt be able to do that if I didnt have the folders right?

The reason why you can't find it with search might be because the files are still listen under hidden and you haven't set up your computer to show hidden folders and files.
Its something kids are not supposed to play with, a lot of hidden stuff are sensitive data for the computer to operate properly.

Thats funny because I have gotten that changed actually. And I have looked without the search bar many times.

Hope it helps.
Delete the .minecraft folder, or saves folder, and they're gone.
EDIT: Ninja'd. :<
