I was experimenting around with redstone in my lab (just repeaters, basic stuff) and because it was getting cramped i ended up placing the end torch of a repeater n a long circuit directly over the main redstone powerline.
Long story short when i powered up the circuit the torch at the short circuit went haywire for a minute, with the whole circuit blinking on and off repeatedly before the system finally remained in the on position. A few tests showed that if i knocked the torch off and left the room and walked a good distance away and then came back I could reproduce the effect, otherwise the torch would remain on.
Working outside in a larger area i am now unable to reproduce the effect, has anybody encountered this and can you help me figure out how to reproduce this reliably?
