Specifically, what extra ideas don't you like? I'm open to constructive criticism.
Pretty much all of it? I don't want to sound rude or unhelpful, but I don't like most of your additions, especially the fake cacti monsters and floating islands being over a canyon that goes to adminium. The former seems silly and unneeded, and the latter would produce a LOT of problems with the game mechanics and look positively ridiculous in-game. Plus, even with just 64 blocks above sea level, we can already fit floating islands.
Okay... The cactus monsters weren't exactly a well-thought out decision, I just added them in to add some peril to getting cacti, to keep you on your toes. As for the floating island, I'm not sure what to put under it. The idea of an ocean never occured to me. I was thinking that the floating islands should be at approximately ground level (of the other biomes) so that you can reach them easier, rather than building a huge staircase (although that problem will be fixed if we get a form of flight. Thank you for your input!

I've always been this way. A patched-up, crazy matryoshka.
I want a creepy biome, not exactly like hell but similar. It would have dead spindly trees and dead grass, and constantly be covered by clouds... and graveyards. Damn, it sounded better in my head. Haha.

...stone pickaxes, which can be used to obtain iron, which can be used to make iron pickaxes, which can be used to obtain diamonds, which can be used to make diamond pickaxes, which can be used to obtain obsidian, which is useless.

Why not have a CHOAS biome? Basically it would be what would happen if the map generator were to try and make all of the biomes in one area, all mobs would be able to spawn here. Here logical geography is nonexistent, could use some upside down areas with treas growing down, lava and water flowing up, and other crazy messed up sh**.
