This is shaping up quite nicely! My only concern is the fact that anything and everything in Morrowind is of greater architectural interest than Oblivion.

Ture, but how would you make a Telvanni tower out of blocks? That just woudn't work.

I just started playing Morrowind for the first time of my life this week.
I just finished my Telvanni stonghold as the awesome mage I am :tongue.gif:
Telvanni mushrooms might be difficult to make but what about a regular Imperial fortress? Shouldn't be that hard..
(I can't consider which TES game is the best yet.. They each have different kinds of small (awesome) details. Morrowind is freaking hard if you are a pure mage though)
This is the most important! With this, looking at people will stop making you think "wow, that's ugly". http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=213
The last two are great no matter how you play. The first, sadly, would require you to start over, but... it's worth it to make the Tellvanni stronghold into a full town with walls and stuff.
Haven't worked on it because of college and important things. I'm also working out problems with the way I've been building it, I'll try to update it soon.
Hey, theres a non-nude version. The whole point is to make people less hideous. It removes the seams between each body part. And you can't "ruin" your first time with mods, you ruin it by pressing ~ and typing "tgm".
Refayj's famous declaration, "There is but one city in the Imperial Province,--" may strike the citizens of the Colovian west as mildly insulting, until perhaps they hear the rest of the remark, which continues, "--but one city in Tamriel, but one city in the World; that, my brothers, is the city of the Cyrodiils." From the shore it is hard to tell what is city and what is Palace, for it all rises from the islands of the lake towards the sky in a stretch of gold. Whole neighborhoods rest on the jeweled bridges that connect the islands together. Gondolas and river-ships sail along the watery avenues of its flooded lower dwellings. Moth-priests walk by in a cloud of ancestors; House Guards hold exceptionally long daikatanas crossed at intersections, adorned with ribbons and dragon-flags; and the newly arrived Western legionnaires sweat in the humid air. The river mouth is tainted red from the tinmi soil of the shore, and river dragons rust their hides in its waters. Across the lake the Imperial City continues, merging into the villages of the southern red river and ruins left from the Interregnum.

A non-oblivion representation would take years, as the original city is supposed to be the city to end all cities, so big that it stretches to the horizon and doesn't end. Also, there are very few concept arts to know what the city was supposed to look like.
That would be cool if you bring this to a private SMP server so people could help you, but then you would lose out on wool, since we don't' have mobs. :V
I know im necro posting but I want to know if this is still being worked on
Sort of. The way I had it planned turned out a little funky. College along with trying to fix the city plan is taking a very long time. I want to see this finished as much as you guys, I don't think I'll just give up on this.
This project is indeed awesome. I highly recommend you set up an SMP server for it, at least after Notch fixes some things. Progress would speed up by a lot if multiple people could work on it at once. Eventually, the city would be completed, and everyone could start working on other parts of the TES landscape.
such a silly mistake... although a tree farm would seem like a never ending option.... coal is much more efficient....

Make an SMP server using this map and I'll help out. I love big group projects.
