I'm not very good with redstone so I'm wondering if any of you could help me.
I made a pipe system moving items from one place to the other and fall on the wooden pressure plate.
I can't seem to make a redstone torch light up when the items are on the pressure plate.

The torches must be attached to the side of the blocks.
You'll want some trial and error to learn the ins and outs of redstone torch mechanics... Or, just check the wiki.
You want to have the second torch-block setup on there because powered redstone leading to a redstone torch will cause the torch to turn off... that's basically an Inverter setup there.
