Title pretty much. I've been playing a lot in single player recently, but I've never found a dungeon or seen a slime despite being exploring new areas underground most of the time. I'm pretty sure this area has been generated after those were added (I've found bamboo, clay, and lots of redstone in these parts -- though I think I first began the world before there were bamboo and clay) so I don't think it's that.
Is this normal? Are they just pretty rare? I'm not complaining, I like to know there's some new rare things to look forward to discovering, but am just making sure it's not a glitch.
(I play on Normal difficulty so it isn't any Peaceful setting preventing me from finding slimes. Though I may be guilty of switching it to Peaceful for a few moments occasionally to recharge my health.)
Yeah, I never ever found a dungeon until I used an editor to find one. You either get lucky or you don't. Or you cheat like me.
Slimes are supposedly regional now? Or that might be a myth. Either way I haven't seen one after the last couple updates, and only saw 3 before that since I didn't get down deep enough to see them much.

Okay, sounds normal then. I'll look forward to finding them. Nice to know I haven't seen it all I guess. Kind of disappointed after reading about the giant brick pyramids that used to be in infdev seem to have been removed.
