The update that said monsters spawn in infdev now, and too many. I should have taken it to heed.
A lighting issue still exists with half block tiles, and monsters can spawn in the dark coastal waters.
I saw mounds of friendly creatures, so I set the game to easy, as opposed to peacefull.
Big mistake.
Suddenly, HEAPS UPON HEAPS of creepers, EVERYWHERE. Pouring out from the hellish sea, and even my home. I took refuge in a 'hidden' entrance, and got into the base at the more lit areas. But they found me. Half my base was gone shortly after. I cleared them out and lit the place, but they still ushered forth from the water. I ran to collect wood for my repairs.
First infdev mob story: Last save was right outside my base during nighttime. No mobs, go inside house, see spider casually walking my first floor...second mob was a sheep which first appeared to have despawned, upon further inspection...it was stuck with its head in the wall :biggrin.gif:
Lol, nuts bro
But seriously
SERIOUSLY
...
"I should have taken heed." <-
Sorry, I hate grammar nazi's myself, but that one bothers me.
Um why? "Taken heed" is just fine grammatically. A past participle, essentially the equivalent of "I should have taken notice of"
Edit: Looks like it was originally "taken it to heed" which is slightly off, but nothing to really get worked up about compared to what ends up on message board posts most of the time.
Oh topic, yeah there is a crap load of mobs that spawn. With all of the water and trees giving shade, a lot of them are still hanging around come daytime.

But then the skeletons came.
Also, I didn't see any spiders. I want a bow :< .

It made me happy :smile.gif:
EDIT: Of course, there's the fact that undead don't burn in sunlight on my game... Well, I'm stuck in my wooden hut.
