By the way, # of posts indicates nothing but the # of posts. I'm 16, and I've had a Paypal account for 2 years, nobody had to show me how to set it up, and before that I just borrowed my mom's credit card. Honestly, going after me because I don't have a bunch of posts is a cheap insult lol.
Go to Walmart. They have this thing called "Green Dot" you purchase the debit-card (Full Visa or Mastercard use, dep on whether you get the Green Dot Visa or Green Dot Mastercard) you can put however much $$$ you want on it when you buy it, then you can buy "refills" to add more $$$ or when you get a job have it direct-deposited (not worth it imo, but whatever wags your tail) You can tie your address to these cards so the "billing address" is valid (unlike giftcards)
Also, Protip: you cannot get a creditcard without credit. Have somone who HAS a valid card co-sign for you (and if they dont trust you, have them just use it once in a while for themselves and pay it off) this way you build credit. This is how I got my card @ $18, now I have 3 (though for some reason I play hell getting any credit now, "we cannot verify your information" only way I got my most recent one was by literally calling the company and verifying it over the telephone, despite having good credit...)
If you dont know anyone, try to get a Gas Card (BT, Texaco, etc) this can ONLY be used to purchase Gasoline at that station chain but it will build credit, and they have much looser standards than Visa, etc. after 2 or more years try again for a real creditcard.

Same deal here with me. I've lobbied for people to gift me Alpha, and they claim they did, though they never arrive. Some of them I cannot trust, but a real-life friend of mine tried (because his parents have paypal). I watched them do it, but it hasn't arrived (and probably won't, given that I've waited 72 hours).
So yeah. I can't do anything but beg. Looks like my got bombed by some :SSSS:, and I can't buy Alpha, because PayPal's all to me.

You do not need a CREDIT CARD to buy Minecraft. A Debit Card works just fine.
If you open a checking account, you automatically get a Debit Card.
Now go do it.
