Lock eyes from across the room
Down my drink while the rhythms boom
Take your hand and skip the names
No need here for the silly games
Make our way through the smoke and crowd
The club is the sky and I'm on your cloud
Move in close as the lasers fly
Our bodies touch and the angels cry
Leave this place, go back to yours
Our lips first touch outside his door
Is the whole night with what we've got in store?
Whisper in my ear that you want some more
And I jizz in my pants.
Don't diss the code - no one writes perfect code the first time. It's the testing that is crap. Notch needs to hire 2-3 people to test the updates and we'll be set.
Perhaps you are unaware as to what it means to have purchased the game before official release...
We ARE the testers.
Arrghh I was going to say that but the forum stole it from meh!
But yeah. Who needs 2-3 testers when you have an entire community?
I understand that, but even with games that have public alpha, some internal testing is done at minor version intervals between public releases to ensure that there is nothing that completely breaks the game.
Not to mention, having someone in the same room to show you the bug and how exactly to reproduce it is definitely a lot better than people untrained in how to write effective bug reports delivering them via forums, e-mail and twitter.

Some guy decided to host a test server earlier on, I hope he doesn't mind if I post the IP.
May lag a bit randomly.
The server is hosted in Australia - so you'll probably get better performance from within the asia-pacific region.
^outdated client hasnt anything to do with hey0. its just their minecraft-server that isnt updated yet, nor their mods/plug-ins
It's because the servers are running Hey0's mod, if they would shut it down, minecraft_server.jar would update, it would break Hey0. Some people keep Hey0 until bugs are fixed so those who have updated get outdated client errors.

I joined a server and someone invisible was attacking me. Does that happen when you die, or is it random?
Try changing your difficulty to easy, normal or hard. Could be that another player is also attacking at you, and they sure do glitch, some may appear invisible + more.
* Boosters are behaving very weird. Sometimes they will boost you normally and sometimes they will give you very small boost (cart will quickly stop). Also they seem to boost generally less than previous version. This was not happening in previous multiplayer version.
* Minecarts seem to be moving even less smoother than before.
* I had experienced weird bug where minecarts were invisible until they were moving them. It was annoying, because all booster tracks appeared as empty. But it got fixed when i reconnected so it could be connection glitch.
* Destroying minecart while still being in minecart results in internal server error.
The problem here is that "it's alpha" means nothing to the general populace since no one notices that this is one of the only games to be publicly released in alpha. This would be the version that other developers hide away in shame. Most aren't even playable to a large extent. Minecraft's alpha version is EXTREMELY WELL DONE-- for an alpha, that is.
Also, putting SSP features into SMP is not just a copy and paste job, the codes are completely different because of how they're sent and received. This update is incredibly glitchy, yes, but it's a huge step up from what SMP was before.
