Just a few slight reccomendations, not sure weather or not they'd be useful.
For one, try turning the bedrock into obsidian or cobblestone or something, if it'd be possible.
Also, you should get block protection on everything, and when you release it have it as sort of a Roleplay type server.
I know you already have chambers of secrets and everything, but if you are only going to have the server open for show, how are people going to get there?

I don't have to protect it right now as my server is full of friends, and people I trust. But it WILL be protected once I open it. I've mentioned this before.
I haven't made the chambers yet, as I don't know how to approach it, but I'll be explaining all this in my videos, so just keep up with them and you'll see.
Awesome work Potato! A few questions if I may. Is that image you posted and the movies your only refrences? Or did you acquire some Hogwarts blueprints or something? I wonder if a copy of the Marauder's Map would be handy. Also, is their anyway people can log on to see the castle? I hope these ? haven't been asked already.
Have you had an experience with fall damage yet? I certainly did.
Lol, not yet. I had to get WorldGuard for godmode, can't let silly damage stop me from building this.

My main reference is that picture on my OP, but the movies have helped a little. I need to get around to watching the rest as a refresher. I've just been really busy with other projects and with all the new updates my server has been really buggy. I have a floor plan I've found through the help of Google, and no one is allowed on the server until it's finished. And yes, all these questions have been asked before, lol.

I like your style of positioning everything diagonally, it keeps it interesting, although it probably came from the nature of the blocks when facing cardinal directions.

I'm really surprised you're not planning on releasing it - instead just leaving it as a sort of "memorial".
With how people are modifying the game, and the amount of rabid Harry Potter fans out there, I'm quite sure that some intrepid people would begin to create the rest of the world; points for the four houses, spells, and classes where people learn (players with a form of "op" that allows them to grant spell abilities to other people), new items (potions, wands, brooms), etc. etc.
Here's hoping you change your mind, but either way: Well done, and I salute you.
