Because people can spoof their name and possibly IP, what CAN'T be used to trick a server?
I wonder if it's possible to create a registry system, that works similarly to notch's account system, which relies on you having to link your main account to the server. If you get banned, you can't spoof up a name or something cause essentially "That" account is banned from the server.
Since it might be harsh to some, the penalty needs to start off smaller.

I think the penaltys should be:
Imprisonment
Imprisonment and loss of items (free loot for the deserving)
It should be nice if you can set up a skin system so different classes are forced to use specific skins, since your "technically" roleplaying so that robot skin won't make sense.
Also, players can't use custom skins with a class, because it doesn't make sense to dress up as a zombie and waltzing into a town, only to be pwned by archers.
Should add 1~3 more classes to Guards as a subclass:
Along with normal Guards, which are armored and use mainly melee weapons, there are lighter armored guards that focus on mobility and range.
Archer - A long range class, archers are usually posted on castle walls or towers, and is tasked to watch over the land. Requirements to take up this role is to be active and alert.
Scout - A mobile class, scouts are always on the move, patrolling the outskirts of the territory, they are lightly equipped to travel, and requires players to be very experienced, as scouts also explore such territory and report back to the town for any new info. Like the Archer, scouts are VERY active and requires you to patrol and "scout" out the lands for any trouble.
Mercenaries/BountyHunters - Armed guards who work for profit, Mercenaries are only possible during war, and they are suppose to be very experienced players. Bounty Hunters aren't the class for war, but they are skilled in tracking and if possible, capturing griefers or evil-doers.
I will add archers to the list, but I don't want too many sub-classes.

Death (banned)
What would be even better would be if we had another class called Prisoners, and when they join, they just spawn in prison cells made of adminium, and they have a time limit until they are free, either 20 minutes to help the RP part of it, or days. Then, banning would just be for permabanning. :tongue.gif:
We could even have a prison guard class if this was implemented. :biggrin.gif:

I could not be ever so honest, to admit that I have been watching the thread since it's sapling days of having just 2 pages. I would very much like to finally ask you, if I may possibly be invited to such an opportunity.

also, i do think that overtime maybe some people should be assigned to a certain job (That they are really good at) more permanently for example by a vote, if everyone thinks metalsand is a great dictato... i mean governor then they can vote to keep him on for longer.
Server is up. People can come and build stuff they would put in the RPG later but none of it will save. It is only to show off. And this is not done so jobs WILL NOT be set.

During war they can set up a hospital and injured people can go in there and heal with food they collect when they aren't healing. This would encourage farming and add another way nations could top each other, by being able to keep people alive and be more efficient during war. Food storage would also be a target during war. (Underground cellar food storage's anyone?)

A hospital would kinda be unnecessary. I like the idea of hiding food, though.
