Bug 1)
Arrows dont hurt people or animals/monsters. They sort of just bounce off them
bug 2)
in multiplayer, sometimes the player doesn't spawn on the ground instead they spawn a few blocks above the ground in the air and just drop. this causes damage when they fall to the ground.
anyone else run into the bug where if you have blocks on 1 side of the door but not the other, it looks like a sign instead of a door? and when you hit it it turns into a light block?
Currently java has a memory leak somehow, and even the powerful server machines are experiencing lag. Please look at the incremintal memory leak thread for more detail.
In any case, it makes true 24/7 servers impossible, since they need to be constantly restarted.

there are plugins via heyo mod which forces a restart after set up time.
Bug: There is still a minecart bug. This is the info I have discovered about it.
1) if you travel alone in a minecart, you will glitch and fall through the track after a certain distance
2) this glitch only happens on the client side of the program. The server continues to follow you in the cart.
3) if you remain in game after the glitch, as your server side copy moves away, the client will only render the chunks according to the minecart copy, and unrendered world will slowly move toward your client character until you get stuck in furnace land. At this point the server side copy will stop and likely kick you from the server.
4) I found that the glitch happens the instant the chunk, in which you entered the mine cart, stops being rendered.
5) If there is another player rendering the chunk that you entered the mine cart in, you can ride for as far as you like on a minecart track without getting out. But once you get out, the "start" chunk resets and you can glitch if it stops rendering
6) if you create stops in the track, and get out and in the cart, you can travel longer distances because the start chunk is updated
Conclusion: it seems that the server side has the loading chunk error fixed, but clients don't recognize that the initial point where you enter the mine cart is important, and so it doesn't hold the chunk active, making the cart glitch after it disappears.
I hope this is useful for people trying to make carts work.

sure your character just isn't being hit by something and making your character fall behind but still in the cart? I had a simular bug but it turned out i was just hitting my head and the client stopped me but the cart kept going with me in it. creating a constant slingshot effect.
