[*] the glitch only seems to occur _exactly_ on a chunk boundary (!)
This last one doesn't appear to be true: I tested from two sides,
see this youtube video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8cnqhOAeAc
one trip from (-164, 73, -1340), ejected at (-113, 69, -1169)
2nd trip from (-137, 93, -1009), ejected at (-113, 69, -1184)
After being ejected, you can mine stuff, but it reappears almost
right away.

I think you see the discrepancy because the chunk that matters isn't the one the cart is it. The chunk that matters is what chunk you got in the minecart in. This has come up in a couple other forums. I'll post links below
Not sure if this is fixed, as my Friend hasn't been able to host a server for a few days now. BUT
Everytime I finish my boat trip, and i right click to get out, I jump out, but I get teleported back on top of the boat, not in it, but just on top.
So everytime, it takes quite a while to get out.
(Is this fixed?)
Anyone else have random fire spawning on their server, nuking whole forests and causing a ridiculous amount of lag?
We have a private server, but for some reason, there's periodically huge forest fires that create so much lag it becomes unplayable (5 solid minutes to load the map, unable to destroy fire before lag respawns the blocks, etc.).
Just wondering if our server is mangled or if it's a problem others are noticing.
Several reports lately of Mac (and Linux) clients are having issues connecting to Linux servers. Anyone with any ideas on a fix?
As far as I can tell from some packet sniffing, the clients aren't even making an attempt to connect to the server. They do the version check and log in to minecraft.net, but they don't ever make contact with the linux based servers. This would explain why there is no mention in the server's console about a failed connection.

This is a reply I made in another thread:

And this is one I found in a mod thread:

I just had a skelleton climb one of my ladders. They're not supposed to be able to do that are they? That's totaly weird right, or not?
