Whenever Im playing minecraft on the multiplayer server, after a few minutes of playing, my entire computer screen goes black, most of the times there are differnt colored sripes. My computer only does it in multiplayer though! Ive tried deleting the game, redownloading it, setting my render distance to tiny, nothing works! If anyone can help with this problem then please let me know, it woud be greatly apprecated.
Right, drivers. And make sure your OS is current with its updates. And make sure your computer has adequate cooling. Do other games do this? It's worth knowing.

Im sorry to say that no, no other games do this. I can play starcraft 2 in high resolution, sup com 1 and 2 at same time, and other games, and never get a problem... why does minecraft give such a one?
It's always possible for one game's engine to trigger bugs in drivers that other games don't, just by the way they utilize the video card's features (or network adapter's, or whatever's) a little differently. For another thing, Minecraft uses OpenGL for rendering, and i suspect the others you mentioned use Direct3D. That does mean it's not beacuse of overheating, though.
I've seen people crashing with this same blackscreen you seem to be experiencing. The fact that it only happens in multiplayer may mean it's the same.
See, for some reasons I don't know, playing multiplayer with a a draw distance of far may cause your client to drop dead with a black screen. The solution : turning it to normal.
I don't know why, but it worked. Try this. With this variable out of the way, if you still have a problem, maybe you got something bigger going on.
