Extract Minecraft_Mod.jar from hey0's mod archieve that you downloaded, launch your server using Minecraft_Mod.jar instead of minecraft_server.jar. Launch it once, wait a second, stop it, and it should auto generate all your config files for you to edit etc.
I take it your not very fluent in linux...I suggest reading up on how to use linux terminal in general before you dive into trying to use it for serving :sad.gif:
Yeah, don't really know Linux. I've figured out how to edit files and stuff, and how to unzip, but the filename is "minecraft_mod 100.jar" and it won't let me use a space. _100 and %20100 don't work, either. Can't change the file name because of the space, too.

Rename it, also a good way to do backups is to changed the name in the map name = is just add a number next to it and "save all" cmd.
I have no idea what I did, but I managed to get it working. Wasn't with any of those commands, but great to know for the future so I don't have to spend half an hour googling things lol.
Basically I just need to install Hey0 on my VPS server running CentOS 5.
I have the files downloaded but I don't even know how to unzip them to extract the .jar =/
Edit: This is a pretty basic tutorial, but not for getting hey0 going. viewtopic.php?f=1013&t=23122
