Hello and welcome to the Official Thread of Etania. This server started off as a Small private server and soon grew.
About:
Our idea is to create a Survival Server where many nations will be created. These nations start there government and city from scratch. Many wars will go on and many Alliances will be created. You join a Nation and become one with your Empire, or you go off alone to start a small tribe. What will you be?
Guilds/Clans/PvP:
The reason that this server is fairly better than others is because of the excitement of Guilds/Clans/Pvp. You are able to team up with a guild or party to kill mobs together, raid other towns, and raise your army. So go ahead, find a friend and team up. Rdm is not allowed though so when you kill there must be a reason.

NLR is also a rule on the server. If you die you don't rush back to grab your items or kill the person who killed you. NLR means New Life Rule you are a completely new person. After 5 minutes you may return as your normal self and return back to where u were killed.
Failure to adhere to any of these rules will result in a ban. A case may be presented via our forums to repeal the ban if you feel the banning was unnecessary.
The server runs a back up system - if you choose to grief, you will be added to the ban list and your actions will be reverted back within MINUTES of the griefing.

Why you want to join: This sounds like a potentially incredible server. And I have nothing else to do for the next two weeks, So I will do as much as possible to make this place incredible by the end of that time.
Additional Info: I will be nice, because I like having friends more than having enemies. I am also somewhat zealous when it comes to those who disrespect other people's creations. I just came from the old Etania. I'm also somewhat insane. So don't worry if I do strange things. Like follow you around for an hour. It's all in good fun. Additional Info: I ran my own server for a little while when SMP was first released, til it became too much work. This'll be the first SMP server I'll be a member of. I played Wurm online for a long time and had a large settlement built with a few of my friends, but we all stopped playing so I'm looking for a new community to hang around.

Why you want to join:Sounds interesting, I've done clans in halo 3, guilds/wars in world of warcraft. But doing all this in Minecraft just made me tweak with excitement.
Additional Info:I'm afraid of night-Reason well I was outside building my house for minecraft I was still a noob. I was making stairs while listening to pandora radio and I hadn't noticed night came until I heard a zombie growl. I think I hit my ceiling when I jumped, I turned around in 1/2 a second to see no zombie...I now stay indoors at night to organize things or build things in my house. (Night is scary.)
