PVP is currently disabled to allow people to construct their factions, cities, and homes. This is to prevent players from griefing new players and factions. It WILL be reenabled once we have two or more reasonably sized cities for players to take refuge in.
Minecraft Factions is a new PVP server that is hosted by a few friends who are still relatively new to Minecraft. It is a 24/7 dedicated whitelisted server. Our goal is to provide a fun server that is faction oriented. That means we encourage you to join a faction and contribute to it's overall success.
As this is a new server, there is plenty of empty space ready to build on. However we have prepared a small area near the spawn point for you to spend the night and we are currently building 2 cities for a faction that we are going to found.

Another reason I want to join is because joining wile the sever is just staring will allow me to fourm allinces and things like that before it is complex.
