Hello everyone, and welcome to the thread. We are running a very clean, orderly, and friendly server consisting of just a few people at the moment. Right now, We are aiming to expand.
We set up the server a few weeks ago, and have accomplished quite a bit so far. We are hosting from south east coast Canada, and nobody has complained about any lagg/connectivity issues yet. Most of us are usually online from 3PM to 9 or 10PM (EST). The RP aspects of our server are as follows
-Social Class
-Wealth
-Barter based Economy
-Government
-PVE
-PvP
-Jobs
The most important part of our RP system is our government. We are comprised of different groups trying to gain land and resources. So far we have the state of Krabbenstadt, which is based on 18th century Prussia, and Nova Roma, based on the Roman Empire. When you start off, you are part of the Krabbenstadt State, which is completely communist, although some may argue that it is under dictatorship. It is run by the state, and goes under it's flag, named "The Golden Mallet". You will get paid by the state for doing various labor jobs. The city of Krabbenstadt is basically an urban slum, making it fairly undesirable to live in. You can build onto the city whatever you want, as long as it's appropriate during the time period (1700s or before), and fits well with the theme of the city (urban,industrial slum). You may own a modest house in Krabbenstadt, but you must pay a fair amount of resources to the Kaiser(me), to be able to move. Krabbenstadt is one of the only places where you can actually feel safe. There will always be guaranteed work for the hard laborer, as long as you obey the laws of the state.
Important Rule:
When you start off, you will be in Krabbenstadt. You must pay 24 iron ingots to be able to permanently leave the city. Although, it is acceptable leave for short periods. This is to stimulate the economy, provide Krabbenstadt workers with adequate wages, and enforce the law of the golden mallet.
This server is completely fictional, but most of our towns are based on something in history.

What are your goals on this server? well i am interested in working intill a opportunity comes to leave and become a member of a new town. intill a new town is made i will try to raise in the ranks in consortium.

I'm tired of unorganized servers where everyone grieves and is unruly, I am looking for a strict gametype and this is what I feel is.

Since September, when I heard from countless people on Xbox Live and World of Warcraft that this game was a great sandbox game.

I was in a couple RP guilds in the game World of Warcraft, of which one I was a high ranked officer of.

Be able to be an expirenced blacksmith who always has just what you're looking for, at just the right price! I want to be a clever witty man who is more brains the muscle, but can still throw out any thieves that think they can steal of Ol' Survial.
[b]Tell us a little bit about yourself: [/b] I am friendly with others, but I am pretty stubborn. I am good with handling situations and I really like organization. I also enjoy learning from the more expirenced.
Reasons for wanting to play on this server: I really like the idea of the historically based factions and Canada rules so this server, in turn, must rule as well!

To fill in the role of chief of the transportation commission, building/optimizing roads, railway systems, etc.

Since the days when Creative was the only mode.

For alpha, I generally host my own servers and play with a close circle of friends (3-4 people). Back in the Creative Mode days, I OP'd for various servers such as Creativity Unbound (some of you may know UndeadSheep)
What are your goals on this server? (What are you going to do?)
As previously mentioned, to keep the amount of city transportation infrastructure on par with growth. I would prefer having a helper as more people join. Since I'd be a civil engineer, methinks I shall be spared from punishment if my city falls to an opposing faction :smile.gif:

Reasons for wanting to play on this server: I just got out of a server that has been reset about 4-5 times and im done building a town there to be deleted, im hoping to find a good server with good rp.

Experience playing on other RP servers: I played on the server called elmlor for all of october but it went offline with the holloween server.
What are your goals on this server? (What are you going to do?): join a city, maybe become a engineer or help the city become a major power in war with a building i know how to make that drags in the arrows, feathers, and gunpowder at a steady pace.

Reasons for wanting to play on this server: I been seeking out a Server, to mix myself into a fun, and mature community, so that I may lend a hand and help develop the world around me through means of roleplay. The Current RP server I am part of has lost touch with me I feel, and often I just feel like everyone upon it is given cold shoulders or playing favourites, the number of times Grifing pops up as well is something to frown upon. So I wish to seek out those who I can Roleplay beside, and enjoy the time I spend online with them. As well as I think it also would be cool to play on a Canadian hosted server, because I myself live in Nova Scotia.
How long have you been playing Minecraft for?: About 4 months since I saw information about the game online from the G4 tech TV Website.
Experience playing on other RP servers: Well I would say my Rp experience on the only other 2 server I been on, has been rather poor for the lack of rules and lore, or because of the over abundant list of rules. I have in the past only attempted to play the roles of a merchant mainly one who owned and ran a lumber mill upon both servers, but each server lacked an economy system that even worked or once given an plot of land to buy and build a shop upon in a town location, I found very soon no one would even be in those towns giving me even a chance to Rp a merchant role.
What are your goals on this server?: If I am allowed to join your server, I would more so like to take on the role of a Royal guard or military rank of sorts, even an archer would be cool if it was something allowed. And maybe time to time given what times I would be relieved of duty even try some exploring/mining.
Tell us a little bit about yourself: I’m a 23 year old male, from Canada Nova Scotia, I’m all for the idea and creativity of Roleplaying for I often take part in and even host Dungeons and Dragons games, I’m an artist at heart and a collage grad who studied digital animation. I’m a hard core gamer, and also known by other for always willing to try and lend a hand if needed as corny as that may sound, I’m also known for some bad but funny because they are bad pun’s and well an overall gamer geek through and through.
