I think 303 arrows would be a nice addition to the server (controlled of coarse) so that nature would have some more abilities (sprouting trees anyone?) Each clan would only use their element. Also is there anything in place to stop massive forest fires? Because it seems like fire would have a massive upper hand against nature.

Please don't get impatient. There is a bug-update wave incoming (the 4th already) so the server needs to get back up to date. Just wait till an admin will check the forums.
Also, Notch removed /home. So newbies, get your house near the warping area!
