As a settler,
I feel most obligated to farm, gather, and build crude structures. I also think that a lot of settlers lived on farms, which grew crops and raised animals for themselves and their people. Is there any possibility that we could obtain a piggy spawner to better fit this category?
I hate to comment with my foot in my mouth, but I am unaware of how seeds are at this point. Last I recall, they could not be picked up. Might the settlers be given some seeds to fit this settler category better? Also, an exclusivity to farming would be nice.
I also don't think it is common for farmers to construct giant buildings from rocks, perhaps wood would work better for us(cabins, if possible.) Obsidian should also be out of question for settlers. I would like to propose these ideas to define our people and add a benefit to being a settler.

We already have a small farm going which i am think of expanding
and once the server is on i was already thinking of making a auto bacon dispenser out of pigs!
and we need to knock down that big sand/dirt/rock hill in front of us and rebuilding it as a tower
i was also thinking of making a moat of lava
and once i get on i need your help in collect some iron it will be easy the iron that is
ps-im also intersted in making farming maybe exclusive to the settlers it would be a nice benefit and maybe we can trade with the tewaka since there the only ones who can make bows

Just out of curiosity - do the factions have a history? Like it'd be cool to just have a big library with bookshelves and having the history of each faction on some walls. Might not be useful in any way but it'd just be cool to know that they have a past!
Eg. 1 ) The Albionic Settlers are a proud and strong people. they farm and till the land for their people, for the greater good, and for their own survival. Long ago the Te'waka saved them from the brink of extinction by nursing their people, have developed a bond between the two strong factions.
Just something like that would be cool, to just walk into the factions base or a library, and seeing their history and maybe their motto or something, would make me happy!
Just a request.
Also I think there should be like ... the traders guild or something, formed from the select merchants from all factions, that will wander around in caravan groups, trading the wares of the factions and forming permanent stores and shops at each town that sell goods. And some trading ports and things like that, just to make it more .... adventure-esq , so that the Pirates can come in on a wave of boats and pillage and stuff.... just some more things to make the sever more..... i don't know what word i should use.....

yeh the servers lagging like hell, so we need to come up with like a lag-police thing ( i dont know just something that shoots lag in the head )to stop that!

yea totally its also not helping that kini is freaking out but we do need to figure something out with the lag
* Swords and other weapons now deal damage properly
* Added proper hurt animations and sounds to mobs and players
* Fixed dead players logging in as invisible ghosts
* Made arrows visible and deal damage
* Hoes now produce proper seeds
* Creepers make noises and animate before exploding
* Explosions animate properly
* No more infinite free arrows
Update will be out tomorrow as he finishes some other things. Otherwise Minecraft is coming close to BETA!
