Izacque, realism really isn't a theme in this RP. And honestly, there WAS a watervator up to that building and you really should talk to the guy that made it before making such rash decisions. Just because it was not your idea did not mean you did not follow through on it, and, though only mild, any form of griefing is griefing, let alone resource stealing. I cannot say much more, but what I can say is that I will talk to Aidan on this matter.
Why I shouldn't be perma-banned:
- I regret what I did
- The removal was not my idea
- I love RP with limited resources
- The edit was small and easily repairable. It was more to send a message than to destroy someone's hard work.
- I won't do it again.
I'm not asking to be immediately unbanned, but you've given me the death sentence in RP terms for a relatively minor infraction. Of course punishment should be given, (a certain period of banishment, items removed from my inventory, etc.) but this seems extreme. I maintain that the removal was not my idea, and that I was not the one that removed the first stone. When I logged on to the server, I went to to my island to find an exceedingly ugly structure. I complained about it and a fellow RP-er said, "do you want me to remove it?" At that point I admit I acted irresponsibly. I thought that by deleting part of the architect's watervator shaft (which had no water in it), I could send the message that his structure was not welcome on my island. Not only was the structure on my island, but it was unrealistic, structurally unsound, only accessible by flying or building block pillars, and served no purpose but a huge forge and a workbench array, something that could easily be built on land. I maintain that the structure was unnecessary, unrealistic, non-conducive to RP, and likely built with the architect's ability to fly that should only be used to combat greifing. In short, said building could be considered spam. I agreed to the removal and then joined in. The change was small. you could type "/hbox" to repair it. About 10 blocks of height of the cobblestone watervator shaft was deleted. If I had wanted, I could have done more. I could have deleted the entire structure. But I was not interested in griefing. I just wanted to send a message. the equivalent of coming out of my cabin with a shotgun and saying "get off mah land!", but not shooting. To say I removes part of someone's work is truthful. To say I incited someone to grief is not true. And, to say that I removed said part with the malicious intention to make someone's life more difficult is simply wrong. I acted in the interests of my RP-ownership of the island, and in the interests of realistic RP in general.
It's still considered grief, which is a ban on this server, no matter how it's portrayed.
Thank you Nuthen for talking to Aiden about it. I assure you I am no griefer. In fact, look at the house I built in main12 of Dysgalt's server. Does a griefer work as hard on their creations as I do? My actions were rash and I regret them. If I'm perma-banned, there's nothing more I can say.

Moo, yes.
Though the races/factions are rather... wierd at the moment.
About Izacque:
Well, if the structures was on his island, then he can remove it. Additionally, as the structure has a watervator, which I cannot see how it could have, it was not a legal structure.
Aidan, i've been waiting you on the server for like, 12 hours or something xD.
So is that enough commitment your not going to shoot me?
Oh, right, and I built A massive sign saying 'Shaw was here' in MASSIVE gold letters, then put a BIG smiley face on it. It took me about an hour, but some griefer destroyed it, and it was long enough ago Jorgen could /undoplayer it...

I believe he should be unbanned.
D: D: D:
please at least give me a fair trial and all that.
About izacque, the structure of interest (jorgen's) was not "on" his land. It was just floating relatively near to it.
Explaining- original plan: borrow, use to get more, return
What actually happend- borrowed, got more, BAN ...

AKA: I'm unbanning you right now. :/
