You've seen this problem way to many times in this forum, but at any rate here it is again, hopefully I've given enough information. I've been trying very hard to create a minecraft server for me and my brother to play together on, but to no avail.
ALL of my specs:
internal IP: 192.168.1.103
local: 127.0.0.1 (big suprise :tongue.gif:)
port provided by the server software: 25565
port range forwarded: 25565 to 25565
IP the port was forwarded for: 192.168.103
error given when attempting to connect from another computer: Failed to connect to server. Connection refused:connect
i left the server ip blank now beacause ive tried countless times with my friend to try to connect i can connect but he cant i gave him :25565 my internal ip external ip
portforwarding everything! what now help!
Same here, i am hosting from my laptop. Core duo 1.3GHz 4gb ram and a connection to internet that comes through at 18mb/s ... i have forwarded ports with the ip i am using, i can connect but if i or my friends try to connect on external it comes up that the connection was refused and on the server gui it doesnt even say anybody has trid to connect. In the server properties i have tried leaving the IP blank as well as putting the ip in, either way i can only connect locally...
