Now that -most- of the server bugs have been worked out, I plan to be active on the server. I think I'm going for a Dware or Demon, depending on how I feel when I start out.
On the technology side: I will be implementing a web interface in 2 weeks as next week I'll be in the middle of the woods camping.

As for your point, frost, let them, let someone that likes that kind of RP moderate that side of thing, I'd probably play on both, managing my slice of the national RP while the individual one is quiet. And make no mistake, it is RP, people make alliances and there's politics involved, it just tends to be a bit lighter
Well when people can be demon dwarves who can shoot lazers and fly, restrictions might be needed. I just ask in case people like putting in preventative measures.
you make a point, I mean to say you dont need to ask permission unless your idea is stupid, in which cae you're unlikely to be the kind of person to ask permission anyway.
Demon sorcerer sounds like a good idea, is he a demon that prefers magic over physical and supernatural might? or a sorcerer who draws on demonic power in his blood to cast magic, corrupting his soul with each flex of magical force?
@Johan
It was more of a demon who will use the power of souls, who needs them in order to properly casts spells. If he is out, he will have to sacrifice parts of his own soul in order to power the spell. However, those souls he steals leave a soulless shell. That shell either dies, or, if they have a strong enough will, become undead instead. I know that it doesn't make the most logical of sense, but magic doesn't always do that.
I would think that if its in the case of another person rping, then they will become undead themselves, changing aspects of themselves, however, if its just a npc monster, than the loss of their soul would kill them? Im not sure, but I think the idea could be worked with.
Rangerblood banned me. And the things I did wrong were:
I broke rule 4.
In the RP town I placed lava blocks everywhere. I did this because I didn't know you weren't allowed to and because I was trying to RP. In the RP I wanted to burn down the village but I didn't destroy anything.

I won't do it again, promise!
So yeah, sorry.
Well, that was rather stupid of you then, wasnt it.
i'm not going to be able to be online tonight to watch the server... i just watched Splice and feel scarred by what happened... i need to go lay down now...
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The game's box-like representation of reality is cute and definitely charming...until a horde of cute box-like skeletons rip your cute little box-like arms from your cute little box-like body.
I strongly suggest you add some random diceroll to your combat system, i understand this is probably just temporary until you get something more functional with weapons and junk, but still, it will stop certain outcomes replaying themselves endlessly
