Funny how one of the most hotly debated argued about items has been postponed. LOL
If I was Notch, I think I'd just delay the update until I had everything done. An extra day or two actually wouldn't hurt anyone.
Of course, it would set off a huge nerd explosion bigger than any invedit hacked TNT YouTube video but, given the ridiculous shitstorm that has whipped up on these forums in the last couple of hours while I've been away working on my own stuff a) it would be funny :cool.gif: anyone with their head screwed on properly wouldn't mind and would understand and c) some people deserve it the way they have been "speaking". I mean, really, I couldn't believe the state of the place when I got here. This morning there were a lot of exited people posting but now its just an unbearable mess of rants and multiple posts, counter-posts and so on. I think I'm going to do something else for a bit. Anything actually worth reading on the forum (with the exception of these stickied threads) has become impossible to find anyway.
Boo for you!
I'd rather he release what he has. Who cares about what's missing... He can release that as a couple of Friday Updates if he likes.
Also. I hope there are more paper materials, my landscape has like none.
All you need is a single stand of reeds. That was all I was able to find but by planting everything I harvested I quickly had more than I knew what to do with. (Sorry for the off-topic comment) I doubt that the boo update will modify the quantity distribution except/unless the biomes would do so. Also, each world is generated from a random "seed", so some worlds will have more of a given resource than others will.

There's pumpkins, new grass textures, fish(which I haven't encountered yet) and of course biomes and the nether(Hell). They seem to be near water and on sand, just to tell you. To put the helmet on, you just drag the pumpkin on the inventory where you put on armor. It makes a pumpkin-like shadow over your eyes for realism.
