I did the same thing, EXACT same. Except I encountered 2 skeletons.

Did moonlight get a lot darker? I'm noticing it's a lot harder to see all of a sudden.

No, it's the new grass colors. They're usually darker now due to the biomes, so it looks darker at night.

For me it's the exact opposite, I can (barely) distinguish ores from solid stone even in pitch-black conditions now, everything is tinted slightly red.

Actually I did some math (distance formula) and found that the ratio is actually 1:8

I used NBT to turn an arrow into a Ghast. It is trapped in a box area. Turns out that the fireballs will not destroy anything if it blows up too soon (the fireballs are not even damaging the glass or smoothstone, yet a bridge was obliterated when my first Ghast got free)

Not sure of the time it takes for a fireball to do damage. Can somebody help out? The box doesn't give me enough range for this testing, and even if it did, well, it requires insane timing

If I knew how to record video, I would show the fireballs not doing anything

EDIT: The glass is getting wrecked. Hmm... But smoothstone gets wrecked if hit by a ball that has travelled far enough...

Also, the ghast isn't seeing me through glass for some reason

EDIT: I must have not remembered what the bridge was made of

The smoothstone nor the iron blocks are getting even a scratch on them, even after filling the sky with Ghasts (7 hacked Ghast Spawners)

They are supposed to spawn near a portal in the outworld, but only rarely. I haven't seen one outside yet. Also, they need a 5x5x5 open space to spawn.

I won't even put portals in my main save so NBD.

Theres pumpkins which u can put on top of a torch to craft a Jack-O-Lantern. Also you can put them on your head.

Sorry for posting here, but I can't seem to post anywhere else! Every time I try to post, or read a thread that I hadn't read before Sunday, I get a "502 Bad Gateway" error. Anyone know how to fix that?
