I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but the Nether Void...
I know it's above the Nether instead of below.
I know that, since you're going up instead of falling down, that this is the Void that you can enter without taking damage and presumably come back out of alive.
But while you're (literally) on top of the world, can you build on it? Theoretically it should be possible to place blocks, since you can apparently stand and move around on it.
So has anyone ever tried it? Anyone successfully build something?
Maaaaan, it would be so bitchin' to have a house on top of the Nether...
Developed the puzzle branch for the map Diversity 2, and recently released a puzzle map called The Present Factory. I later put the guts in a map called "Valley of the Kings", which I'm too lazy to link.

According to this picture off the wiki there was, anyway... Though now that I think of it, that was probably created by an admin, just to show what it looked like. :/ How disappointing...
@Destrex: Being a huge expanse of flat bedrock and nothingness, I imagine it would've been a lot easier to build up there than in the Nether proper.
No, it's a nice idea...but without certain modifications...
I'll be right back.
EDIT: After modding my map, I've attempted to build my house on top of the Nether and gotten a BSOD. Windows ME has crashed

Someone once told me you could actually use the eggs and bucket of milk to make a cake. Turns out it was just a lie...

Egad! Well, it's the Void of "Hell" for a reason I suppose... Thanks for trying though!
You can't build up there as much as you can't build below normal bedrock. There is also a Void below the Nether. Both are inaccessible without map editing. You cannot place blocks above or below the final bedrock layer.

Manly blood is both highly acidic AND highly basic, but I'm glad to see you're paying attention.
Aww, welp there goes my plan to build a condo timeshare up there. Darn...
Thank you, vgxmaster, for taking a BSOD for the team. You are a brave soldier.
Well that all depends. If you're pronouncing the separate letters of ME "em-ee" then you're right, it is one too many. But if you're saying it as a word, "me", then it's still within five syllables.

First line is six syllables...
