i would love a tunneling mob. maybe making 1x1 holes when they spawn, but then they grow up after a certain amount of blocks and start making 2x2 holes. would be really creepy to come across a small hole and then watch as it gets larger and larger, and then you come to a dead end (because the mob tunelled upwards and looped), turn around and stare into a massive maw of teeth and slime (think MIB 2 giant worm thing)
also: "the hole... it was made for me..."

There may be typos in my posts, and due to asbergers, they may not make sense.

I'm sorry Ryan, but this forum disproves your statement...

That would be ****ing scary and completely awesome. Only cobblestone would have to stop them, otherwise they'd destroy my fortress. Or maybe obsidian, that way you'd be scared... Very scared.

Now you guys know why im named what im named. In my very first save, all of my diamonds. And I mean ALL of my diamonds were from following a chicken that fell in my mineshaft (thank god they dont die from falling). It might be a coincidence, but I think its so weird that chickens always seem to lead me to minerals.
It's herobrine's pet chicken. There are so many clues; the straight hole, the fog visible to the side, the chicken's lack of pupils (he's wearing double eye patches to fool you)

I've seen some pretty big coal veins before, sometimes two veins will intersect to form one giant one. It happens.

Well it went down into the earth pretty deep, and there were also a few redstone and gold deposites, but since I didn't have a steel pick at the moment I wasn't able to mine them.
I wish I would have been able to record the chicken, but my computer isn't very good.
