Okay I decided to go kill some monsters earlier today in minecraft, and I couldve sworn I saw 4 creepers aswell as some zombies and skeletons burn up from the sunlight! Do creepers burn from sunlight now?
no I haven't noticed then burning and still have plenty walking around after dawn, I have noticed a few simply dissappear in the distance ( I assumed it was my short fog setting) but then not be anywhere to speak of once I clear the distance to kill them.

How do people know that zombiepigs burn up? Only way to find them is in the sunless Nether, and currently I don't know of any hacks that let you spawn them outside of the Nether.
Nope, but I like it like that. Makes you have to work for your gunpowder. Besides, there's plenty of ways to stop Creepers from infiltrating your base. Cactus or hellblock fence, make a hole at ground level that you can stab their feet through. Besides, if they died in the sunlight and I could just go and grab all their gunpowder without having to bother fighting them, my world would be a crater by now, haha.
Creepers do not burn in sunlight, but I've noticed that sometime not too long after dawn, any exposed to sunlight will despawn (as well as spiders). So if you're worried, wait a little bit longer inside your house before going outside.
