Guys, dont you think we should search herobrine in one of the minecraft folders?
No, it wouldn't work.... Once you opened your files to look, Herobrine would delete any files pertaining to himself. It's kinda like trying to find Neo from the Matrix. Herobrine won't be found unless He WANTS to be found.
Now... if you DID find a file that Herobrine was there, you might want to consider building a fort for your character VERY VERY quickly before everything is destroyed. You see, Herobrine controls the creepers, the ghasts..... lava.... everything. Now that I think about it, even building that fort may not help you.

There are no girls on Minecraft.
There are, however, a number of guys that look alarmingly good in skirts...

Someone once told me you could actually use the eggs and bucket of milk to make a cake. Turns out it was just a lie...
(<)Dave Stiller challenged one of those trees to a staring contest.
Nobody beats Dave Stiller in a staring contest. Not even Ben Strider, with his kinda-mot-gaunt face.
The tree burst into flames from the shame of defeat.
hi, i just joined the forums because something happened to me that i thought was weird enough to be worth posting...
i started up a new world and began looking for coal, as i hopped towards the top of a large hill i spotted something that should not have been there:
*image removed*
somehow my trees are burning...
i have not even punched a tree yet much less made flint and steel...
i checked around and found no lava...
its just a hilly area with moderate tree cover (at least it used to have tree cover) adjacent to a small snowing zone, and a short distance from the thin strip of beach i spawned on...
i am now going to go watch my forest burn and get back starting up my new world, just wanted to share this odd occurrence with the rest of you...
nice to meet you all by the way ^-^

why thank you kind sir, i find ur avatar to be quite fetching as well... tho i am uncertain as to why... >.> :happy.gif:
back on the subject of the thread i think the theory that it was vanishing / subsurface lava (or magma) is most likely... in any case there were other weird and annoying things (great difficulty finding adequate amounts of coal, finding a large number of spiders camping outside my home every morning, their creeper friends, ect.)
so i decided to make the world an experiment world, blew up some stuff, messed around with redstone, quick visit to the nether... and then deleted it (ill use invedit for some things like testing door locks, or figuring out light switches / traps, but i always delete the world after... never use it on a world i intend to keep)
all of this being done well after the creation of this thread of course...
there was also some weirdness with cartograph:
the flat image showed less sand but has already been deleted... anyhow i never saw any of that floating sand in the game so yea... over all one of the weirdest worlds ive spawned to date, and now it is but a memory...
so i guess this thread can die now... says the guy that just added another post to it...
