I have a whole tribe of pigman living in their and barely any ghasts can ever harm them.
I can also leave to get hell materials and whatever else.

It appears Ghast don't attack you if they see you behind glass, but they try to find an opening to shoot through, so make sure there aren't any.

(Actually, it was my attempt of Earth on Hell, but it saves Zombie-Pigmen!)

alright, i went mining just for this cause and this is what i found (alsosome things i had earlier)
X20 X20 X500 X50 and X100 and X10 to help it grow. also a few X200 and the Ghast-proof X348. i've included two trained (they r the minecraft versions of Fido) 1 likes meat so i have X30 so the pigmen dont have to sacrifice themselves like zombie aztecs and 2 just likes ghast jelly......ewww.... good luck pigmen!

Actually, it's better to make them enclosed complexes rather than large areas because ghasts can spawn in them. I made my pigman pals a big underground area! I'm currently hosting 2 tribes!

i am buying minecraft today (SHOCK HORROR) but i shall donate *400, *200 *200 and *2. When i collect these materials i shall subsequently put them in a chest until i can create a portal to use these materials and more for the ZPM
