Suck it up and leave. No one is asking you to stay. If you need to ***** about it, go do it somewhere else.
Although it's good to voice your opinions, don't do it somewhere that it doesn't really matter. I'm sure we all grew up with our parents nagging us with the whole "If it's something that isn't good to say, don't say it".
This applies here too.
If you don't like it, leave. There's no point in complaining about it. Don't like it? Email Notch. Don't tell everyone about your hate for a game that is in alpha. Half of the games that are out today that are way past even Beta testing and is in full-fledged release mode suck way more than Minecraft.
The simple fact that the worlds are completely randomly generated makes this game that much better.
TL;DR ver. : "If you don't like it, **** off. No one needs your **** around here."
*edit : Negative criticism is appreciated by devs, but only if the dev actually reads the criticism. He barely has time to sleep, let alone read all of your complaints. Let the man do his job.

I'm thinking that those people getting exactly what they want from the updates should just stop commenting on every post made by others with complaints... if you have no issue with your own game, you don't really have a right to tell anyone else that does that they shouldn't just because you don't. Again, we don't care if you got what you want out of it, we aren't you, and we don't have to accept getting screwed over. We should have an option to play how we want to as well.
Seriously, what the hell is up with all this egotist crap where certain people think no one should be able to play their own game the way they want to, trying to shove how they themselves play it on those that don't like it? Get over yourselves.
---
Quit thinking only about yourself and getting only what you want out of it while telling everyone else to shove it, and bashing anyone that comes here wanting things any way that's not how you like it to be, and then turning right around to use the tired old gem about not getting what they want. You got what you want, and we should as well.
In short, shut your mouth. No one cares if you like the update and like to play kiss-ass when, SURPRISE, a massive group of people have problems with the very things you personally like, and got, but they don't. Next time you see someone complaining, you should take your own advice: "If you don't like it, **** off. No one needs your **** around here."
It's those stuck up pricks right there that are causing the ****, not the people with the complaints.

For as long as the grass grows

ALPHA: In this stage you have a working script, but it probably still has lots of bugs that need to be worked out. You might not have all your features yet, but the core of the program is running and can be tested extensively.
..now, you paid for it knowing that it is in alpha out of your own, free will? Oh, you did, right? So, if you really need to act like a 5 year old go and scream at yourself, preferably not here.

I mean, seriously. People knew what ythey are buying (game in A-L-P-H-A). They knew (most likely) that Notch was busy with starting hes studio. He also did inform us that he is behind the schedule, but the will do hes best.. and now they are, what, disappointed? Don't make me laugh.
I wanted to make a CTF PVP event, with both teams having 1.5h to prepare their forts and craft weapons, but since dmg in SMP is still broken we can't do that. Guess what? I'm not crying all over the place becouse I knew this update will be broken in some way, like 95% of updates for software in early development.

May I proceed to beat the complainers with it?
Unless you see a creeper...
I wouldn't really need to tell people to stop complaining and leave if they didn't complain to begin with.
