Once the update is released everyone will rush to Minecraft.net and crash the server. It's practically an un-intentional DDoS!
So don't get your hopes up that you will in fact be playing in 15 hours, 9 minutes and 40 seconds.
Not if we go to Plan.Z
We break out Chuck Norris.
Chuck Norris is waaaaaaay too old and decrepit to save us from a server swamp. Even his stunt doubles are too old. We're gonna have to surf this shockwave on our own. So, hopefully, it's not too bad. Betting monies on it, no way.

Every time I come to these forums, I think more and more that I'm the only person who plays Minecraft normally.
Every time I come to these forums, I think more and more that there is no such thing as playing Minecraft normally.
Clouds make DDoS'es virtually impossible, given the right amount of servers. If One server crashes in the cloud, another takes over while the first gets reset, if that one goes down, a third one will open. Amazon is too big to be down in more than 3 seconds.
Maybe latency spikes.
Also i hate people calling latency lag, lag is when a recipient seems not to respond to the package, the package gets resended, resulting a stuttering.
