It's kind of hard to read replies right now, so someone might have already discovered some of this stuff, if so, just take these as a "Confirmed"
First: A quick "Walk-Around" Video looking at the new biome stuff.
Description: Mining an "Australium" Block (The yellow, glowing ones found in The Nether) gives you 1 Australium Dust. You can turn 9 Australium Dust back into an Australium Block, but that would seem to be a loss of 8 Australium Dust. Not sure what the up side of doing this would be, besides using the blocks as infinite light.
Known/Possible triggers you've found: ^
Description: When you attack a Pigman, all pigmen in the area go hostile, and stay hostile, even if you leave The Nether and come back, not sure if the chunks are unloaded or not when you do this.
Known/Possible triggers you've found: Even just one hit with a sword, and they get mad.
Description: Ghast Tennis! If you have good timing, you can bat the Fireballs back at the Ghasts with either melee, or a ranged weapon if you have good aim. Although, so far the Fireballs seem to just go through the Ghasts.
Known/Possible triggers you've found: Melee and Ranged Attacks
Also, Pigmen hold Strange, Australium Coloured Weapons... Australium Dust doesn't seem to work for crafting, I'm going to try with Australium Blocks.
And of course, right after I post this things start calming down and actually loading. >.> It took me like half an hour just to get this post posted in the first place dammit.
It seems to be possible to spawn underground, in a cave when you make a portal.
Zombie Pigmen drop 0-2 Pre-Cooked Pork.
Red Mossy Cobble (It's not Bloody Cobble, according to one of Notch's older tweets apparently) needs a pickaxe to be mined properly, although it's still destroyed pretty fast with no tools. (Won't drop a block though.)
And although older news, the Red Mossy Cobble burns until it's put out if a flint and tinder is used on it, it won't go out by itself.
I'm unsure of this, I may have just been lucky, but Desert Biomes seem to have a large amount of cacti.
I can confirm both the pending things. Ghast tennis, you can just hit the fireball back with anything including your fists. And yeah you can use the fishing rod to grapple mobs and pull them towards you.

I dont give **** for america not everyone live there i ukrain so more early or perhaps importants?
Fishing Poles can break with use, although I'm not entirely sure if they're destroyed slowly when just fishing with them, I got distracted and was attacking mobs with the hook. XD So that might just be what would break it.
