a) hellish/fire-themed mob -> weak to water
:cool.gif: ghost-type mob -> weak to running water (wasnt there something about vampires not being able to cross water, or the nazgul in lotr not being able to?)
id prefer to need to maneuver somewhere above the ghast and douse it with a placed water stream, though.
Unrelated to this topic, vampires cannot cross water because water represents life, and once you cross to a vampire, you crossed life, you cannot cross life twice. [crossing life twice being crossing the equivalent of life, water]
Related to this topic, "Any problem on earth can be solved with the careful application of high explosives..."
The obvious "perfect weapon" to take on the Ghast is water. It inhabits a hot, lava-filled dimension and spits exploding orbs of fire. Water can also be the perfect Ghast defense, since it will protect blocks from being destroyed by explosions. This is why the inner walls of my Ghast Chamber are covered by falling water.
Other possible useful weapons against the Ghast: Hadouken, a Mega Buster, Force lightning, Rock-type Pokemon attacks (since it shoots fire and flies, one must assume that it's a dual Flying-/Fire-type), SHOOP-DA-WHOOP, nuclear weaponry, the original Megazord, Silver Arrows, Excalibur, Thy Holy Hand Grenade, Metal Gear Rex.
