kinda like a griefer, only in single player
Lol... Flying creepers. They'd be flying around, see you, then dive-bomb and explode on impact. They'd either blow you away, or the front wall of your house away. I can imagine it'd be fun to try to get them to fly past you and hit other things on purpose, E.g. luring one in front of someone's house, and strafing out of the way.
I'm still looking to see mobs that 'do things' or dynamically change during the game. So you have a bunch of little monsters that explode and summon a large mob, or large mobs that disassemble into smaller ones, for example. Also different mob types that work in coordination with each other to overcome inherent weaknesses. Although I would much rather have large numbers of monsters with a couple different textures. Even if it was just 2-3 variations or a texture change it would be rather nice. Some variation is always a good thing. A large variation of monsters is better than large number of monsters.
we need "Him" in minecraft.....if they add him to minecraft they should make it so u have to make a shrine for him and offer him and and or he will scare u shatless every 5,10,20 mins or something like that
Yeti and evil snowmen (or ice creatures) that throw snowballs (or ice shards) but only on snow/ice. They would suffer damage on "warm weather" blocks. - For biomes.
Crocodiles/alligators for water/fishing (better than sharks since they can chase you on land.)
Passive ghosts, spawn in the dark, but follow you (even in light) and activate random things around you (doors, redstone, TNT...)
Evil trees that look normal till you get close. Maybe just in the hell world.
Bats, but balanced to keep from being too annoying.
Maybe not for Halloween, but one day: giant trolls that look like parts of mountains until you get close and are made of dirt, stone, etc. blocks. Killing them would require destroying a "heart" block which could be anything from dirt to the very rare obsidian.
A one-eyed, one-horned, flying purple flaming creeper
Being serious, though, Wolves. And, in the future, a creature made of blocks who can be dufferent shapes. Hard to program? Yes, but it would be awesome. In fact, if redstone circuit boards come to be and can be stacked inside each other, well, combine it with 16x16x16 block entities and one could make a moving being
It is likely a pipe dream, however, which also means making my giant stone dragoness into a boss on a map is a pipe dream :sad.gif:
What about sea creepers? Imagine you're in your boat in the middle of the ocean...
"sssSSSSSSSSSS-BOOM"
They swim beneath you and detonate, although they take longer than normal creepers.
Some poisonous, smaller spider or other creepy crawly that's attacks drain health. Drops little purple gobs of poison you can tip arrows with to make stronger.
Maybe Cyclops? Lives exclusiveley in surface caves containing loot, equipped with a wooden club. Very protective of his loot.
Fatter, more resilient zombies. Maybe the default skin could have purple, boily skin.
Red HellSkeletons that fire burning darts instead of arrows.
CreepHive, a four legged, extremely bloated and slow Creeper "mothership" that lumbers around, hatching small, 1 block tall little creepers. About 4x4x4.
Floating eyeballs that live in a creepy biome or in hell. They can float to whatever altitude they want. They shoot small, short ranged energy pulses.
Giant, red slimes that spawn in special, spacious, subterranean chambers. Like the Cyclops, it has a chest which it is very protective of.
Water beasts with a penchant to sink boats. Can move through the water without splashing annoyingly.
Whatever it is it should complement the other updates within the package to show off it's abilities, so elemental-based creatures like Golems or something would be neat. Also, more realisticly, mobs that Biome specific, for instance you'll only find something like yetis in a snow biome while you'd only find say.. a rattlesnake in a desert biome.

Large Balrog-like creatures that spawn where there's only light generated by lava.
Giant horrifying jellyfish in the sea.
I make the Artifact mod.

Lavaboats! Made of some sort of heat-proof alloy.
Just needed to get all of my ideas out there
