Spider Jockeys are one of the deadliest mobs on Minecraft. If you find one, and you aren't prepared, the best choice is to flee, but if you are in a tight room, then you are screwed.
they are skeletons riding spiders.
they can walk and jump off wals as well as attack from a distance.
once you kill the skeleton or spider the other half still remains to fight you.
So many people have answered it already, so I'm not gonna answer this, but I've played minecraft since alpha 1.2.6 (or something, don't really know, just know that i joined during final stage of alpha) and i have never seen a spider jockey ingame. I always played on hard mode, just cause i like a challenge (and I'm just MLG like that! :tongue.gif:), and yet i still haven't seen one. So yeah, I don't think they are common, in any way, shape, or form.
they're supposed to be rare but I've seen a ton
