Okay I've already accepted that no one is going to believe me, but I was out walking around on my World2 and came across a big temple looking thing, and I looked around a little more to find two more buildings labeled "Excavation Site 1" and "Site 2."
So I took the hint from a sign inside Site 2 (which mentioned some ruins) and found a super mind blowing easter egg or something like that
I'm going to give you guys the my main save file, World2, to look through the whole thing because I don't think pictures would do it justice
I don't see why people even bother with these idiotic hoaxes when any bum off the street with a Java decompiler can look through the Minecraft source and see that there's is no code at all for this sort of thing. Posting the save doesn't matter, as you could have well built it yourself. The objective proof would be to post the seed, post a cartograph with the location of the building, and have someone walk over to that spot in a new map with that seed and see if they get the tomb.

I don't understand most of what you just said, but I do know it was pwn.

Well I would have someone try this but the temple was inside a big chunk that looked like it was misplaced
I was just walking out in one direction from my base to waste some time and came across one of those really big chunk error walls with a lake or ocean at the bottom, so I jumped down and swam across, climbed onto a mountain and saw it there
I've found other things all over the place inside messed up chunks, I found a little shrine looking arc type thing with a fountain near it and then a part of a lighthouse that was sticking out of the side of the wall of a chunk, with only a sign and an entrance to a room
Okay well I might as well post the save, even though no one is going to believe me D:
Here
Just follow the dirt pillars near the first site towards the temple, and look around for the other site
I've emailed Notch, and if he says that it's not some kind of special easter egg then I'll drop this

sounds like you downloaded someone's save and then "deleted" the world and made a new world over it..
Nope, I've been using this world for a long time, I used it in a video awhile ago as well, this has been my main one for a month or two I'm pretty sure
I'm just gonna... NOT download that... Until someone has confirmed it has no viruses.
Don't worry about viruses, I wouldn't do that.
Even if you don't believe that I found it, I still think it's a decent experience. I get why you guys would say I'm lying, it's not very believable and unlikely, but I honestly did find this why walking around.
It might just be a weird glitch, though I don't know how any glitch could make this happen unless it took a whole chunk from another world on another computer or something. My friends and I all hope that it's some kind of easter egg, but it's probably just some really uncommon glitch
Although it's obviously fake, I figured I'd test this so I downloaded the world and wandered around in this "tomb" a bit. I then created a new world and copied the seed in LolEditor. I wandered quite a bit around the new world with the copied seed and I even copied the Player Position where I was standing on the entrance to the "tomb". As it turned out, there was nothing there and my character fell a block or two onto some trees.
The seed did generate some pretty cool cliffs, floating islands and whatnots, though :tongue.gif:
This is probably because the chunk the Tomb was on was a glitched one, like when a chunk from an old map is saved somehow and transfers over to a new map, and you find one of your old buildings. The only difference is that I'm pretty sure no one built this on my computer, so I'm wondering what caused it.

Here is the map
Spoiler right here
Again, I didn't make any of this, but chances are that none of you will believe me. I had a few people watching when I found it, though, so whatever

Yay I have internets now! If you've ever felt like I deserved one before I had it just make it up by clickin' it now! ;p

Okay I'll do a walkthrough video of it all.
