Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows whether we will have to download a new server version when the update is released, or if it will happen automatically. Thank you.

Since Alpha has been released, what did we do when a new update came out?

I do not know. I only created my server 3 days ago. Sorry for being a newbie.

If you have a dedicated host, they will update it. If you host your server, it'll either be automatic or you'll download it from minecraft.net just like you did to set it up.
