This has been solved. If you plan on flaming me for this, or trolling, just turn around. A logical explanation was given. But if you just want to read it for kicks or for a read, then go ahead. Just don't make yourself look un-educated and stupid by posting "Lol so faik nawt reel".
Lightning is a release of atmospheric electricity. You felt a tingle, which you interpreted as lightning power. Which it kind of was.
You got the causality order wrong. It's not the tingle causing the lightning when you point, it's the pre-lightning electric charge causing the tingle and lightning.
You're pointing your fingers at the sky. Your fingers are tingling because they're closer to the sky.
So, not trolling, no magic powers, simple explanation.
Tell me if you have anything to dispute this, I'll be seriously interested.
purple_fire98 i think assumed troll and decided to get in on the game.
Hello, I was just outside, and I was trying, just for fun, to see if I could create lightning. Me and my friend where just messing around, when I pushed my index and middle finger together, and threw my hand at the clouds. I felt a tingling in my fingers, and then a massive lightning bolt came from no-where. We tried this repeatedly, and we both found it worked. We did it over and over and over, and it only worked when our fingers tingled. I have video proof, not edited, and will be adding it soon. It is being uploaded to youtube. Also, we are only 13, so don't judge us for sounding/looking weird. Anyone else have a similar experience? Or is it just me and my friend? Because I am freaking out right now...
Also, it is storming outside, but not too much lightning. I haven't tried this before, but it is cloudy, was raining, and was lightning sometimes, but it didn't seem like a coincidence because it mainly hapened when I had a shocky feeling in my fingertips and when I threw my hand at the clouds.

Thanks for being the first serious person here, and I believe you. I am really confused about this, just like you. I need an explanation...

A new age is coming.. Quick, go on a wheelchair and shave your head! We must aim for the unity of this new race.Seriously though, I believe this is possible. People only use a small part of their brain. Maybe, by pure luck, you've opened a part?
I had a similar event happen to me. Whenever I pounded my foot into a square drawn out on the ground (in sand, with chalk on concrete, etc) A strong gust of wind would suddenly appear, even on windless days. I haven't tried in years.
Here is the explanation, given by smogard.

You're our next prophet. Do not abuse your power, use it only for good.
You have a big life ahead of you.
I've actually watched that show, haven't thought about that in years, but lol, anyways.
In the video, I am rambling a lot, but it shows proof.
Maybe, but it happened exactly when I threw my hand out toward clouds, sometimes delayed by a second or 2. Only when my fingers felt tingly or shocky.
You're Static Shock, man.
Make a religion.
The US. Why do you want to know?
