As the 2012 election season is gearing up the flood of idiots plastering their car with bumper stickers is out in full force and quite frankly I have no idea why. I've always wondered, why the hell would you waste your time putting one on your car? Has anyone in the history of mankind had their mind changed by a bumper sticker? Has an Obama supporter become a Romney fan through a bumper sticker? I doubt it. I see them all the time and they always irritate me. I just wanted to get that off my chest.

I just hope those Obama style "Osama" stickers don't come up again...
*grumble*
Stupid, immature people...
Actually, I don't even know if those were bumper stickers. I just saw them spammed all over the internet.

When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. I don't want your damn lemons! I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!
Usually when I see them the person is extremely left or right-winged to the point where they are almost too interested in the election; it reminds me of a football fanatic, only they decorate their cars instead of themselves.
Unfortunately most forums are full of liberals. It's really a shame, liberalism is a disease, and it's spread too far.
Well alrighty then.

I don't mind seeing political bumper stickers as long as they're not absolutely retarded or hateful. I think someone above mentioned banners comparing Obama to Osama Bin Laden. Stuff like that is just blatant ignorance, and it makes me mad when I see it. But if someone wants to show their support for a particular political party or something, have a freakin' party.
My favorite political sticker memory was when I was on the way to Cedar Point one year. Some hicks in a big van from southern Ohio were in front of us on the way to the same place and had tons of far-right stickers. One had Uncle Sam holding up his hand as if to say "Stop" and said "Speak English or LEAVE."
The funny thing to me was that Cedar Point hired nothing but Eastern Europeans that year who could hardly speak a thing.
I saw this one car in an alleyway with some back to the past 80's bumper stickers.
Even on the front, sides, etc.
Should there/Is there a law for bumper sticker limits?

FFS, I am obviously wonderful.
I was thinking more far left-wing communist, but moderate works too.
Word to the wise though; this site is primarily left leaning. Be prepared to take a lot of ****, or just ignore political threads, like I do.

You heard that, green and red.
At least they weren't illegal Mexicans.
I can't tell if you're joking or not.

That's a great idea. I'd love to buy some retro-political bumper stickers. I wonder if there are any particularly ironic ones.
