Australia and New Zealand do have a fairly large Minecraft community, and I'm pretty sure (though not absolutely certain) that Mojang said Minecon wont be in the US or Europe again next year, so there's a chance.

No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...
Very low chance, everything internet related there is too expensive. Plus, the largest player base is Canada, United States, and Europe. Australia is quite a travel from all of those places. I know kids are going to whine because it is not literally in their backyard, but MineCon needs to make money.
Mojang has said they wont be going back to the US or Europe, making Australia fairly likely.

Uhh... we're talking about Australia here, I don't see what Canada has to do with anything.

Minecon will require internet of sorts, which is a bloody fortune in Australia. I highly doubt it.

I hope so.
Yep, cheese is fine with me
