I was exploring the Nether in my new Hardcore world in 1.7.4 when I can upon this adorable little thing. Has anyone else found the same thing? I'm sure I can't be the only one.
Hilarious! I hadn't even seen a baby zombie pigmen until just last weekend when I was trying to get some Wither Skeleton Skulls. Wouldn't have expected chicken jockeys in the Nether but funny enough. Now the Nether has a source of food!
Baby Zombies can now rarely spawn riding chickens, and because zombies and zombie pigmen share code (its the same reason we get baby pigmen in the first place) chickens can now spawn with zombie pigmen on them in the nether. I warned you all, they're vicious demons
It's new. Baby Zombies can spawn as chicken jockies now.
And I suppose the same goes for Baby Piggymen.

As noted in Docm's video, a zombie has a 1/1000 (I think) chance of spawning as a zombie riding a chicken, if in the nether, and a ZOMBIE pigman, well, it has a chance of riding a chicken, theres the facts!
I think it's kinda dumb that chickens would spawn in the nether, unless it's assumed that there have been portals built to the nether before, but then they'd have to make most of the nether mined and built in.
