Hello, I created this account because since the latest snapshot I have been crashing every time I try to turn up the sound or music in Minecraft. I have the latest version of Java and LWJGL.
Here is what it says in the developer console:

Game ended with bad state (exit code -805306369)
I'm not familiar with the exit codes and couldn't find any solid info on those types of error codes. My best suggestions would be to look at the Mojira bugtracking site for a report, try downgrading to an older build of LWJGL, and if you have a sound card try updating your drivers.
Seems odd to me that volume levels would make the game close.
You're not trying to run 1.6 in the old launcher, are you? I'm just asking, by the way, not hostility. 1.6 uses libraries that the old launcher doesn't support.

Don't insult me, thanks.
Also, this forum is basically viral but I'm not getting any replies simply because the majority don't have this problem.
First of all you posted this in the wrong section, so stop acting like an entitled brat who expects us to solve all of your problems for you.
BTW: The correct place you should go to get some help on this error is this forum - http://www.minecraftforum.net/forum/151-unmodified-minecraft-client-support/ That is the unmodified Client Support section (obviously use the Modded Client Support if you ever get an error with a mod installed)
Now, I see in the second error you posted you got a null pointer exception. In programming language that means your game was looking for something (like a number) and got literally nothing, no number, no letter, just nothing. The game apparently doesn't have a fail-safe in the case you get a null value and it crashed.
How to fix it, I have no idea. I suggest making sure you run it with everything updated and if it still doesn't work, go to the Unmodified Client Support Section.
Yeah, a majority of us don't have this problem, so stop complaining if we can't help you.
Welcome to the internet, you have much to learn.
If all members act the way you do, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't have the goodness in their heart to help. Because they would have none of all were like you.

Same as the above, also I'm not narcissistic as you have passively implied. Which I DO take as a personal offense, you see on the internet people act more like themselves than they do to others when they meet them personally. That means that an insult on here is not just a joke as some claim.

First of all please understand that most of us don't know how to code or fix code, so how do you expect us to help? This isn't a tech forum. Also I'm sorry if I caused you offence but when you make posts like that you really do seem to be a brat like the guy before mentioned, how about you prove me wrong and reply to this in a manner which doesn't insult me of the forum community, because we ARE happy to help but you must understand we have stuff to do as well and whining about not getting help doesn't go over well with some people.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
...but that's just like, my opinion, man.

Uninstall all version of java you have (there can be multiple) and then reinstall the newest one from their site. This may fix your issue.
