I'm working on my next custom CTM map, and one of the areas I'm doing is a very large city. Unfortunately, I suck at architecture, so I figured why not see what the community can do with the challenge.
Here's your rules:
- You have a 25x25x15 area to build in - vertically, you can go up to five tiles below and 10 above ground level.
- You can use the following materials: Sandstone, any Stone item (including moss stone), any Wood item (including chests, bookcases, etc), dirt, grass, leaves.
- Keep water use to a minimum (it's a desert map).
- Post pictures, or if you really want to help, upload an MCEdit schematic.
This is my collection of signatures. If you know some you would like to add pm me. If you see your signature and that bothers you, let me know and I will remove it

Is there any more info you can give me about the city and what type of building you want me to make such a house, store, farm?
Any or all of those would be good - since it's a city, a variety of structures is important. It's a large, sort of egypt-themed city in a broad sandstone cavern.
I made one building but have never uploaded an image before besides my egg. Where does minecraft save its pictures and do you know any good image hosting sites?

On windows, it's:

Aha, I just realized that it wasn't the smartest design for that person/these people to use, since the second floor furniture can light on fire from time to time :tongue.gif:
Thanks, I'll look forward to seeing what you can squeeze in there to screw players over.

I've left (most) of the chests empty.
And this is why I let other people do architecture. Looks great, thanks a ton.

Schematic here. I won't be hurt if you don't use it. It's strange and probably won't fit with the other architecture.
